Release date: January 31, 2025
The journey is timeless, and so there are films inspired by it. Indian road films have always managed to reach their destination, as long as it is corrected, it is corrected. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Piku, Karwaan, NH10, Kathy, Highway, and more are widely recognized examples.
Kannada Drame Paru Parvati, who is characterized by Debut Rohit Karthi and is characterized by Bigg Boss Kannada fame Deepika Das, Poonam Syrnik and Fawaz Ashraf, a story about self-khoj on the road. While the plot does not seem to be a novel, was there an unconventional attempt or is it a good watch? Let’s know!
Paru (Poonam Syrnnik), a senior citizen, who was different from her husband, lives a disappointed life, surrounded by controlling his children and their related families. Payal (Deepika Das) is a journey enthusiastic and Vlogger who spends her life from one destination to another. Major performances are the best appreciative. Deepika Das, in the form of anklets, is a panoramic screen appearance, but is reduced by being confident in emotional moments. During her time at the Bigg Boss house, Deepika’s ‘Boss-Lady’ attitude leads to her character, which particularly shines in action sequences.
Poonam synonym, which plays the role of the title, seems to be out of place, the language barrier is clearly clear on the screen. In this role, a Kannada actor may improve the overall impact significantly. Fawaz Ashraff otherwise provides very important comic relief in philosophy.
Rohit Kirti shows a promise as a director, offering a familiar story in an unconventional way. Story patterns, transitions and some sequences highlight their creativity as a writer-director. However, the lack of their experience is clear in overall execution. The first half is slow, and comedy efforts decrease. The second half is better and more attractive. Some options about scenes, dialogues and screenplays feel amateur and convenient, especially for a new-oriented filmmaker.
Cinematography and music are the main attraction of the film. This journey can serve as a type of journey for the journey journey of the journey. In particular, landscape cinematography is beautifully executed. In addition to some options, which seems that the cinematographer was trying hard, the scene on the screen, for the most part, will ‘wow’ the audience.
While background music is good, songs are really standing out. Showing various types of musical styles – the soundtrack effectively sets the film’s mood – including the rag, rap, Indian, and more. Divya’s songs are entitled to a special mention to capture Holi beautifully through Rang Melody and Visual.

On the other hand, the dialogue between the main characters feel more like a distraction. Most lines are forced and unnatural when distributed by actors. Veteran Kannada actor Sudha Rani has lent her voice to Poonam’s Paru in Kannada and she tries his best to create a reaction, but the actor’s clear view of Hindi speaking while the dialogue is in Kannada. Similarly, philosophical music in the film rarely resonates, because there is a lack of scenes that form a real relationship between the characters and the audience.
Reflecting a trip – where anyone sets, faces discomfort, understands it and accepts it, and eventually starts enjoying the ride – as it moves forward, Parvati on the audience Can increase. While the film could have been much better with various creative options and strict editing, this effort is commendable. Music and cinematography, in particular, make it worth a watch.
