The teaser of the upcoming mystical adventure film Paradha starring Anupama Parameswaran, Darshana Rajendran and Sangeetha was released on 22 January. The film marks the second directorial venture of Praveen Kandregula, who gained recognition with his debut film Cinema Bandi.

The teaser starts with Subbu, played by Anupama Parameswaran, embarking on a journey to end her life and spends Rs 70 lakh in the process. On the way, two other characters played by Darshan Rajendran and Sangeetha also join him. The story later links to a village with long-standing customs and superstitions, including the practice of Sati.

Director Praveen Kandregula, best known for his film Cinema Bandi, returns with a new project that highlights the lives of three women on a journey filled with mystery and cultural traditions. Cinema Bandi, backed by Raj and DK, producers of Family Man and Citadel: Honey Bunny, was appreciated for its distinctive narrative style. Kandregula’s latest film seems to continue his exploration of unconventional storytelling.

The musical visuals by Mridul Sujit Sen and Gopi Sundar add depth to the teaser. Produced by Vijay Donkada under the Anand Media banner, the release date of the film has not been announced yet. This film will be released in both Telugu and Malayalam.
