Oppo has officially announced that the next-gene Reno 14 series will soon come to China. In a Weibo (Chinese Microblogging Site) post, the company only teased its next-gene smartphone, Reno 14 series. The teaser shows three dates in May in May, which are assigned for campaigns in three separate cities of China. This is a clear indication that the Reno 14 series will come in May. Oppo has kept other details in wrapped.

Oppo Reno 13 Series: What’s Hope
While Oppo has not confirmed any details yet, rumors and leaks paint a good enough photo. Tipster Digital Chat Station shared two new images on Weibo, claiming to reveal the design of the upcoming Oppo Reno 14. These leak randers show the device from both back and side, which take a close look at their fresh beauty and camera layout.

The rear design of the Reno 14 has a flat, sculpted glass panel with a stream around the camera module. A smooth white finish in the upper part of the rear game provokes the design language of the old iPhones, such as the iPhone 12. The device is implicated in aluminum, in which the power button and volume rocker appear to the right. While rumors suggest that a new “magic cube” button may appear to the left, this detail remains unconfirmed because only one side of the phone is shown.
The camera system is arranged in an R-shaped layout within a slightly rectangular habitat. Two lenses are placed vertically on the left, while a third one sits within a capsule -shaped ring next to a triple LED flash. The previous leak indicates that Reno 14 will be the 50-megapixel periscope with a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and 3.5x zoom lens. Although the rear rear appears to show the periscope located above the island at the beginning, the side view clarifies that it is integrated within the module.

Interestingly, the design looks closely of the Reno 13 Pro, suggests that Oppo is refining its look rather than reinforcing its look. However, a notable departure from its predecessor is to step for a flat display – a 120Hz OLED panel – replacing the curved screen used in the Reno 13 series.
Reno 14 Pro is expected to be launched with IP68/IP69 water resistance rating, which provides complete protection against dust and water ingestion. While Oppo has not yet officially confirmed these details, the combination of subtle design development and strong new features points to a polish upgrade for the Reno series.
