Oppo Reno 14 Series: India Launch?
China has officially confirmed that the Oppo Reno 14 series will be launched this month. However, its arrival in India is uncertain. Keeping in mind the Reno 13 series, only its Indian started in January 2025, it seems that its successor will be launched so soon.
Historically, there has always been a difference between the Oppo’s Reno series between China and India. For example, the Reno 13 series was introduced in China in November 2024, followed by two months later in January 2025.
Finally, we have to wait for Oppo whether the Reno 14 series will be launched in India.
Oppo Reno 14: What is expected
Although Oppo has not yet officially revealed any details, recently rumors and leaks have begun to portray a clear picture of what to expect. The famous Tipster Digital Chat Station shared two new images on Weibo, claiming to display the design of the upcoming Oppo Reno 14. The leaked renders take a detailed look at both the rear and side of the device, which exposes its updated beauty and modified camera layouts.
The camera system adopts an R-shaped configuration placed within a slightly rectangular module. Two lenses are aligned vertically on the left side, while a third capsule sits inside the size ring, deployed with a triple LED flash. Earlier leaks suggest that Reno 14 will be equipped with a 50-megapixel main sensor, with a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and 3.5x zoom capacity. Although the rear render may initially give an impression that the periscope lens is placed above the main camera island, the side view clarifies that it is integrated in the module itself.
The overall design holds a strong similarity for the Reno 13 Pro, indicating that Oppo is focusing on refining the existing look rather than making harsh changes. However, a significant difference is the switch of a flat display – a 120Hz OLED panel – reflects the winding screen found on the Reno 13 series.
Additionally, the Reno 14 Pro is expected to be launched with an IP68/IP69 rating, which provides complete protection against dust and water. While Oppo has not confirmed any of these specifications, a mixture of subtle design development and meaningful hardware upgrades shows that the Reno will be a well -round update to the 14 series.
