As Oppo prepares to launch the Reno 14 series in India, a tipster has leaked its prices just days ahead of the launch. Oppo Reno 13 series is scheduled to launch in India on January 9. The phones have already been launched in China and the Indian variants are expected to have similar specifications. While both the devices will be unveiled in full grandeur on the launch day, Oppo has highlighted some of the key features of the phones. But before we delve deeper into the specifications, let’s take a look at the price.

A tipster, @LeaksAn1 revealed the price segment of the upcoming Oppo Reno 13 series on X (formerly Twitter). According to the leak, the starting price of this series will be Rs 37,999. The Reno 13 is expected to be priced at Rs 37,999 for the vanilla variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage; And the price of 256GB storage variant is rumored to be Rs 39,999. Talking about the Pro model, the price of 12GB RM and 256GB storage will be Rs 49,999 and the price of 512GB storage model can be Rs 54,999.

However, the leakster did not specify whether these prices are after bank offer or whether they are MRP. It seems like these will be MRP which is expected to get additional discount offers. That said, we advise you to wait for the official announcements on January 9.

Oppo Reno 13 series: what to expect

According to the company, the Oppo Reno 13 series has been designed with a focus on durability. Oppo claims that the phone features a premium aluminum frame, a sculpted rear panel, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i for added protection. The teaser images also emphasize the use of “aerospace-grade aluminium” in the construction of the device.

Teaser visuals suggest that the Reno 13 series 5G will include a flat display and a triple-camera setup. Compared to its predecessor, the Reno 12, the camera module appears to have been redesigned. The rear camera layout features two vertically aligned lenses, along with a third lens placed on the side, creating a triangular arrangement. Additionally, the camera module includes an LED flash that is designed as a ring light, which aligns with modern design trends.

While details about the Indian variant are scarce, the Reno 13 series has already launched in China, offering a glimpse of its potential specifications. Oppo has confirmed that the devices will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset. The standard model will be available with 8GB of RAM and two storage options: 128GB and 256GB. Meanwhile, the Pro model will feature 12GB of RAM, with 256GB and 512GB storage configurations.

The battery capacity also varies between the two models, with the Pro version having a 5,800mAh battery and the standard version coming with a 5,600mAh battery. As for optics, the company has revealed that the phone will have a number of AI features including AI Live Photo, AI Unblur and AI Reflection Remover. According to the company, the Reno 13 Pro also features a 50-megapixel 3.5x periscope telephoto camera, which allows up to 120x digital zoom.

The Chinese version features a 6.59-inch flat AMOLED display, offering a resolution of 2760×1256 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate for sharp visuals and smooth performance. The Indian version is expected to have similar specifications.
