Oppo has launched K14x smartphone in India. It comes with a 6500mAh battery and the price of 4GB variant is Rs 14999. The price of 6GB variant is Rs 16999.

There is a new budget phone now available in India. Oppo launched the K14x 5G smartphone on Tuesday. It is an entry-level phone with basic hardware and similar basic price, the price of K14x 5G starts at Rs 14,999 for the 4GB variant.
Meanwhile, the 6GB variant of the phone is priced slightly higher and is priced at Rs 16,999. The phone is available in two colors: Icy Blue and Prism Violet.
Oppo K14x specs, India price and features
One of the key features of the K14x is its large 6500 mAh battery. Apart from this, it is a quite entry-level phone. The device features a 6.75-inch HD LCD display. Resolution is limited to 720P, which is on the lower side. But the refresh rate of the display is 120Hz. The phone offers a maximum brightness of up to 1125 nits.
The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and runs ColorOS 15 based on Android 15. It is equipped with a large 6500mAh battery paired with 45W fast-charging support.
Talking about the camera, the K14x has a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel secondary camera. In. In other words, only the primary camera matters here.
In terms of durability, the device comes with an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. In a way, this marks a slight drop from the IP65 rating given on the previous generation Oppo K13x.
The phone is available in two variants: 4GB RAM with 128GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage.
The starting price of Oppo K14x is Rs 14,999. This is for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The second variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs 16,999. It is worth noting that the K14x comes at a significantly higher price than its predecessor K13x which was launched at Rs 11,999.

In a way, the Oppo K14x is following the script of almost all the phones launching in the budget segment this year. Rising component prices mean that entry-level and mainstream phones, where margins are thin and competition fierce, tend to look a little more expensive than similar phones from years past. For example, earlier for Rs 15,000, consumers could buy 6GB or 8GB RAM. But now we see that phones in this price segment come with only 4 GB RAM.
Having said that, the Oppo K14x looks like a well-packaged phone. This may especially appeal to those consumers who want good battery life from their phones.
