He wrote, “My honesty to announce a film based on Operation Sindoor recently, is inspired by the recent brave efforts of our Indian armed forces. The intention was never to hurt or incite someone’s feelings (SIC).”

The filmmaker shared, “As a filmmaker, I was shifted with courage, sacrifice and strength of our soldiers and leadership, and just wished to bring this powerful story to light. The project was born with deep respect and love for our nation and not for fame and mood.”

The Post further read, “However, I think time and sensitivity may cause discomfort or pain for something. For that, I regret it.”

“Our love and prayers will always be with the families of the martyrs as well as the Bravo warriors, who are fighting us on the border day by day to give us a new dawn. Jai Hind! Jai Bharat (SIC),” The producer concluded his apology.

His apology came after receiving a lot of backlash. A part of social media criticized the filmmaker and all the people associated with the film, to take advantage of the opportunity, and earn money from the grief of the people and the defense forces of India.

The poster also mentioned ‘Bhaganiya’ and made it to the owners of Pooja films – Vashu and Jackie Bhagnani – clarify that they had nothing to do with the film.

In a statement released online, Pooja Films said, “We want to address recent news reports and social media about a film called ‘Operation Sindoor’. Mr. Vashu Bhaganani and Mr. Jackie Bhagani are not associated with the project in any capacity.

Our hearts and minds stand with the Indian armed forces during this sensitive time. We are praying for each of our soldiers fighting to keep India safe. Jai Hind! Pooja Films (SIC). ,

India continued to defend its sovereignty against Pakistan’s missile and drone attacks on its military structures, religious places and citizens under Operation Sindoor, started on 22 April as a reaction to the Gustli Pahalgam attack, which claimed 26 lives in Baisran Meadow of Kashmir, mostly tourists.
