This year, OnePlus has opted for a new quad-curved design on the OnePlus 13, moving away from the signature curves seen on the OnePlus 12 and previous models. The updated display design leans towards a flat look with subtle contours around the edges, making it slightly more compact than its predecessor despite retaining the larger 6.82-inch screen.
The display on the OnePlus 13 features BOE’s X2 OLED panel with an 8T LTPO configuration, 1440p resolution, and a variable refresh rate reaching up to 120Hz. The display can reach a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, promising excellent visibility even in direct sunlight. The new flagship from OnePlus also includes an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner integrated into the screen, providing secure and quick access.
Another standout feature of the OnePlus 13 is its advanced vibration motor, which OnePlus claims is designed to provide gaming controller-level feedback, perfect for users seeking a premium flagship for gaming and daily use. Adds an immersive element. Additionally, the OnePlus 13 boasts a new IP69 rating, offering better water and dust resistance than the IP68 standard.
Once again, OnePlus has prioritized its camera system, equipping the OnePlus 13 with a triple camera setup co-engineered with Hasselblad. This setup features three 50-megapixel sensors for versatile shooting options. The main camera uses Sony’s LYT-808 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), while the 3x periscope lens, equipped with a LYT-600 sensor, offers an equivalent focal length of 73 mm for portraits and zoomed-in shots. There’s also a 15mm ultra-wide camera that also doubles as a macro lens, thanks to Samsung’s S5KJN5 sensor. On the front, the OnePlus 13 sports a 32-megapixel camera designed for clear and detailed selfies.
Powering the OnePlus 13 is a 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, which supports both 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. In China, the OnePlus 13 runs on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15, while in global markets including India, it is expected to come with OxygenOS 15.
