Samantha Ruth Prabhu spoke about her public divorce with Naga Chaitanya and myositis diagnosis in a recent interview. EllieShe added that she has gone through fire to reach where she is now. In 2021, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya announced their separation a few days before their fifth wedding anniversary. She was also diagnosed with an auto-immune condition called myositis and has been vocal about her struggles.

When asked if she thought she would have done anything differently in the past, she said no. Samantha then explained, “We all wish we could change certain things about our lives, and I sometimes wonder if I should have gone through the things I went through. But looking back, I wouldn’t want it any other way. I was discussing it with my friend a while ago, and I always thought I wouldn’t want the last three years to be like this, but now I think you have to deal with whatever life throws at you.”

She further added, “And as long as you come out of it, you win. I feel stronger and more determined than ever. It’s because I went through fire to get here.”

Samantha said that she got the strength to face this battle from spiritual awakening.

The last few years have been challenging for Samantha on the personal front, yet, she is bravely moving ahead in dealing with the struggles. Samantha has also reduced the number of her films.

Talking about work, Samantha was last seen in ‘Kushi’ opposite Vijay Deverakonda. She has announced her upcoming film ‘Bangaram’, which is her first feature film as a producer. More details about the film are still awaited. She is also waiting for the release of Raj and DK’s series ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’.
