An old video of a paraglider suddenly landing during an event in Pakistan has surfaced online and social media users are left laughing. In the clip shared on Instagram by popular account ‘Ghar Ke Kalash’, a paraglider is captured landing above the chief guest of the event. according to Khaleej TimesThe incident took place during the celebration of Gilgit-Baltistan’s 76th Independence Day in 2023. The program showed the paraglider making a dramatic entry, followed by a trail of red and blue smoke.
In the video the paraglider miscalculated the time and speed of his descent. Instead of landing on the field, he landed directly in the first row, where the chief guest was sitting. People standing around the chief guest immediately moved away and no one was hurt. On the other hand, the paraglider was seen stuck with a damaged parachute after landing.

Since being shared on X, the video has been viewed over 604,000 times and has received nearly 8,000 likes.
Reacting to the clip, a user jokingly wrote, “Not a day goes by when Pakistan is not doing Pakistani things.” Another commented, “He came off like the Green Goblin in the Spiderman movie.”
A third user said, “As long as there is Pakistan, we will never have a shortage of interesting content.” “People are still clapping and the camera man hasn’t moved an inch,” said another.
“He could have been dropped at the same spot during practice…they have arranged for VIP seating in the same area…not his fault!!” said an X user. Another responded, “The average Pakistani is shocked when he hears that biryani is distributed for free.”

Earlier, another video from Pakistan had surfaced online showing an airline pilot cleaning the windscreen of his plane just before take-off. The footage shows a Serene Air pilot leaning out of the plane’s side window to clear the view ahead. The incident occurred on an Airbus A330-200, which was operating an international flight between Pakistan and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The video started a conversation about airline safety protocols and the duties of ground staff. However, a section of the internet said that this is a common practice.
