Introduction

2025 can only be the year of “thin” or at least thin smartphone. Samsung already teased the Galaxy S25 age, and many rumors became one thing to the iPhone 17 Air. Keeping this trend in mind, Redmagic has unveiled the Redmagic 10 wind. As the name suggests, its primary purpose is to be thin and lighter than its brothers and sisters. In this case, it is 10% thin and lighter than the Redmaizic 10 Pro.

As you can imagine, this newfound thin profile comes at some cost. Overall, the wind current in the current redmaijic lineup is to sit one step below the other two phones, as explained by the last year’s Snapdragon 8 General 3 chipset. It still provides adequate performance, but Snapdragon 8 is not at the same level as an alete, provides strength to 10 Pro and 10 Pro+.

It is also active cooling fan. Probably, since Redmagic has applied such an impressive passive cooling solution, it is no longer needed. We will definitely put that claim to test.

Apart from this, there is a large 7,050 mAh battery of Pro and Pro+ model. It has been replaced with a 6,000 mAh pack that supports 80W charging unlike 100W.

In addition to these changes, Redmagic has not sacrificed air gaming lineage in any meaningful way. It is still a very premium and brilliantly designed aluminum and glass device with delicious RGB lights and more importantly that two touch triggers on the frame that can be used as additional gaming inputs.

Redmagic has now used the small internal space so well that they have also included an additional button on the air – the magic key, which can be mapped independently for action in any number. But we will meet a little on it.

Out of the box

Redmaizic 10 air comes in a thick, heavy, two-tukra cardboard box. There are some plastic used for the phone cradle.

The secondary package is surprisingly rich in modern terms. You get a nice thick red USB Type-C for Type-C Cable in the box, as well as 80W PD Fast Charger. Apart from this, the box has a good hard plastic, transparent snap-on case for the phone. We also came with some stickers, but obviously, they are not part of the retail package.
