Is there such a thing as “too much cheese”? Well, that’s a matter of debate, especially when it comes to pizza. Over the years, this traditional Italian dish has gained fame for its versatility and delicious taste. Pizza is loved because it brings together a great combination of flavours – from the tangy tomato sauce base to the chewy, crunchy crust. And let’s not forget the cheese – the gooey, elastic flavour that makes every bite heavenly. In the time of culinary experimentation, pizza too has seen some delicious variations. This time, the list includes a 12-cheese pizza that has cheese in everything – from the crust to the toppings! Yes, you read that right!

The video of this unique pizza has been shared by digital creator Kyle Istook (@kyleistook). Istook adds several types of cheeses in a mixing bowl – mozzarella, cheddar, grated Parmesan and a cheese snack. Next, he adds an egg, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, garlic powder and onion powder to add flavor to the all-cheese crust. After mixing all the ingredients, he forms a “nice cheesy dough ball” which he flattens to form the crust.
In a greased pizza pan, he spreads the dough ball and bakes it in the oven. For the pizza sauce, Kyle Istook went the extra mile to prepare the cheese sauce. In a pan, he took milk and sodium citrate and mixed it with two cups of cheddar cheese. Once the cheese base is baked, he puts a generous topping of the prepared cheese sauce over it. Now, you would think that the digital creator has added some veggies or extra flavors for the pizza toppings. But no! He made the cheese pizza even more cheesy. For the toppings, Kyle Istook added mozzarella cheese, mozzarella pearls, shredded provolone, aged cheddar cheese and some ghost pepper cheese.
Next, he bakes the pizza in the oven so that the cheese toppings melt. When it is ready, he adds grated mozzarella cheese on top, bites into it and enjoys its delicious taste.
