Adivasi Shesh’s 2018 release Goodachari became one of the most talked about films of that year. The action spy thriller directed by Shashi Kiran Tikka won applause for more than one reason, not to forget the interesting visuals and thrilling stunt sequences.
And now, the makers have sought to reboot the film franchise titled G2. It will be directed by debutant Vinay Kumar Siriginedi.
Recently, the film’s production house, People Media Factory, announced the lead actress opposite Adivi. While the previous installment had Shobhita Dhulipala, this time it will be none other than Wamiqa Gabbi who will take the reins.

Along with the post, the makers released a stunning poster, which features the lead actors in an unforgettable avatar. In the caption, she wrote, “Team #G2 welcomes the fabulous #WamiqaGabbi to the mission. Get ready for adrenaline pumping action in a breathtaking adventure journey. Stay tuned for The Thunder Glimpses this month.”
Apart from Vamika and Adivi Shesh, the film will also star Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi along with actors like Madhu Shalini, Prakash Raj, Jisshu Sengupta and Supriya Yarlagadda.
The first announcement for G2 was made with information about a director change in September 2022. Adivasi Shesh himself is the screenwriter of this project.
As per the previous statement of the lead actor in June 2022, the sequel will be a regular continuation of the story that ended with its first installment in 2018.
In other news, Adivasi Shesh has also grabbed attention after announcing Mrunal Thakur as the female lead for his other upcoming film Dacoit. Earlier it was supposed to star Shruti Haasan, who walked out of the project for the same reasons.
