22 years later, Black Friday won over Anurag Kashyap’s daughter: no big reward
Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap opened his daughter’s praise for his cult classic Black Friday. He reflected the permanent impact of his work and shared insight on his travel and cooperation.

Anurag Kashyap’s 2004 release ‘Black Friday’ is one of those cult classic titles that have become a fan favorite over the years. The film, which won the Grand Jury Award at the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles and was a candidate for the Golden Leopard Award at Locano International Film Festival, including KK Menon, Pavan Malhotra and others.
Today, in a special chat with India, Anurag Kashyap, who is one of the executive manufacturers on the Prime Video Title ‘Stolen’, talked about ‘Black Friday’ about his daughter Alia’s love.
Sharing an anecdote about the most rewarding as a filmmaker, Kashyap said: “What is rewarded, my daughter saw ‘Kennedy’ at the age of 20, and she said, ‘I love this film at all.’ Now she is married, she will soon be 25 years old, and one day she saw ‘Black Friday’ and discussed it with me.
‘Stolen’ also stars Nikhil Advani as one of the executive manufacturers with Kashyap, Vikramaditya Mamotwen and Kiran Rao.
In a light moment, when asked which of these directors have been asked in the film sets, they would like to love, Kaship said, “I would like to stay on the set of ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’. Because I knew that a separate nikhil Advani knew that she is not able to do a separate school and she is doing a film. So for me, it is like I would like to watch the film.
