Hours after deleting his post, he shared a quote by Mark Twain without naming anyone. His post read, “Never argue with stupid people. They will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.”

Soon after Dr. Phillips criticised Nayanthara, she deleted her post without offering any explanation.
The doctor shared a screenshot of the deleted post and wrote, “Post deleted. But no apology. No accountability. Like a surgical strike on public health. Laws are needed to prevent such behaviour by the celebrity community and registered practitioners (non-AYUSH) need to be empowered and supported to provide evidence-based scientific education to improve informed public health choices.”

Earlier, Dr. Phillips had debunked Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s claim that hydrogen peroxide nebulisation helps treat colds and flu.
