Director Vignesh Shivan and actor Nayanthara’s Naanum Rowdy Dhaan completes nine years of release on October 21, 2024. The actor shared a montage of photos from the film and recalled happy moments. In the caption, she thanked her husband Vignesh Shivan for giving Naanum Rowdy Dhaan to her. They fell in love with each other during the shooting of the film.
He described Naanum Rowdy Dhaan as a film that blessed his life and changed it forever. The actor also mentioned that it gave him a new experience as an actor.
Sharing the video, Nayanthara wrote, “A film that came to bless my life and change it forever. 9 years ago today, Naanum Rowdy Dhan was released… I got new love from people, new learning. Always grateful for the gift.” Artists, new experiences, new original memories and new relationships.”

Naanum Rowdy Dhaan is a black comedy starring Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles. This also marks Nayanthara’s first collaboration with her now husband Vignesh Shivan. They met each other in 2015, fell in love, and got married in 2022.
Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan are now parents to twins Uyir and Ulag.
