The winners of the 72nd National Film Awards will be announced today at 5:30 pm at the National Media Centre, New Delhi. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting will reveal the winners during a press conference, which will be streamed live on PIB India’s YouTube channel.

An 11-member jury led by acclaimed filmmaker Jayaraj has finalized the winners for films certified by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) during 2024. Jayaraj, who was previously part of the National Film Awards jury in 2012, led the panel responsible for evaluating and selecting this year’s honors.

Malayalam cinema has once again emerged as a strong contender at the awards after a remarkable year which saw films like Brahmayugam, sweet boy And Kishkindha incident Receive widespread praise and generate substantial buzz.

The competition also featured a number of notable entries from various industries, including Hindi films. Article 370, Srikanth And Chandu Championtamil titles like King, Miazhagan And Amaranwith telugu release Kalki 2898 AD, Lucky Baskhar And Devara: Part 1.
