The Nano Banana Pro is said to be a significant leap forward from the original model. The new tool utilizes the improved reasoning capabilities of Gemini 3 Pro, allowing it to generate images with greater accuracy and a deeper understanding of real-world context.
In simple words, its main job is to take whatever concept you have in your mind and turn it into something organized. You can feed it scribbled notes, half-formed ideas, a class topic, or a design sketch, and it will try to turn it into a proper image or diagram.

Google is running a wide range of apps and tools
Google is making the Nano Banana Pro widely available across its ecosystem. This is already available in the Gemini app under the “Create Image” option using the “Thinking” model. While free Gemini users get a limit on Pro generations before rolling back to an older version of the system, users with subscriptions to Gemini Plus, Pro and Ultra subscribers get a far greater usage limit.
For professionals, the tool is being integrated into Google Ads, Slides, and Video to improve image creation for advertisers and Workspace users. Developers can access Nano Banana Pro through Gemini API, Google AI Studio, and Vertex AI for enterprise-level projects. NotebookLM customers globally will also get access to the Pro model.
