MWC Barcelona 2025 closed on 6 March. GSMA says the program attracted 109,000 attendees. Who is in the global technical industry in this program. Highlighting the impact of the event, GSMA CEO John Hoffman said, “MWC is where industries meet, and this year’s program shows how fast it is opening the world around us. The GSMA revealed that this year’s version of MWC Barcelona saw participation from 205 countries and regions, featuring over 2,900 exhibitions, sponsors and partners. GSMA says that more than 2,900 journalists and analysts also saw important media interests in the event to cover the latest developments. The MWC platforms and media outlets had more online engagement, with about half a million unique ideas of kenotes and live sessions.

The co-located talent, which was organized by the Mobile World Capital Barcelona (MWCapital), attracted more than 20,000 attendees, divided between senior professionals (53 percent) and students and young professionals (47 percent).

Considering the success of the incident, GSMA Director General Matt Granrid expressed pride in the development of MWC. “I have participated in every MWC since the early days and, with my last as the Director General, I am proud of how it has developed. The industry is starting in a new era, and I am deeply grateful to play a small role. Together to promote policy makers, startups and businesses to promote private-public preaching on those topics”.

MWC25 Barcelona set the platform for the busy year of GSMA events, with MWC25 Shanghai 18-20 June 2025. In addition, GSMA announced the inauguration MWC25 Doha, which was set for 25–26 November 2025. GSMA has organized next year from MWC Barscelona.
