It featured a fried potato vada peeking out from a hollow brioche bun, with an array of chutneys smeared around the edges. This is not the first time that vada pav has got a singular culinary makeover. Earlier, the internet was in a stir after a picture of Croissant Vada Pav went viral. In the picture, viewers were shown a screengrab of a food delivery app. “Croissant Vada Pav – 2 pcs” Read text below the snap. This unique dish consisted of two croissants cut from the middle. Mashed potatoes with spicy peanut powder were stuffed inside the bonda croissant. Pav buns were not used. Mint chutney, a slice of lemon, onion rings and two green chillies sealed the meal.
