Mukbang YouTuber Yuno has apologized after receiving heavy criticism for a video filmed during a long-haul flight. The creator, who has over 780,000 YouTube subscribers, recorded himself ordering food more than 20 times while sitting in first class on the flight that lasted nearly 15 hours. Many viewers felt that the repeated meal requests increased extra work for the flight attendants and could cause inconvenience to other passengers. After backlash spread online, Ueno deleted the video and publicly apologized, admitting that he made a poor decision.

Yuno’s video shows her ordering food and snacks during a flight as part of a mukbang challenge. During the visit, he reportedly demanded seven bowls of ramen along with salad, bread, fruit, sandwiches, cheese, tiramisu and other items.

Soon after the video was uploaded, many viewers criticized the YouTuber. He said ordering food so many times during a flight puts unnecessary burden on the cabin crew. Ueno says he focused too much on content and apologizes to cabin crew
In his apology, Ueno explained that he had asked permission from the flight attendant before filming. He said he planned to simply request a meal while other passengers were already being served meals or snacks.

Ueno said he failed to think about how demanding so much food could create extra work for flight attendants or make other passengers feel uncomfortable.He also admitted that there was something about the way the challenge was presented in terms of the thumbnails of the videos that made it more awesome because he became very focused on making it unique.Ueno assured that he will be more cautious in the future as making entertaining videos should not take the place of showing respect for the people around him.
