Motorola last week launched The Age 60 Styles with an underlying stylus as the first edge series smartphone. The smartphone is sold in two colors – Pantone Surf the Web and Pantone Gibraltar Sea. We just get our hands on one, so let’s take a close look at this stylus-totting smartphone.
The motorola edge 60 stylus comes into an environmentally friendly package made of recycled materials, and includes a charging cable, a 68W power adapter, a SIM easeer tool and some documents. Motorola has been introduced to its smartphone with “Moto Fragrance” last year with Edge 50 Pro, which connects to unboxing experience. we like it.

However, it is worth noting that the holders in the retail package in which were usually not involved in the protective case were not involved in the age 60 stylus; It had only documents. This confused us, and we thought that someone in the factory had forgotten to include one person, only to find out that the motorola edge does not bundle a protective case with 60 stylus. Well, we find that the useless, and motorola can be left out, just to put some documents inside it, and more when it is advertising the environmentally friendly nature of the retail package.
Anyway, moving, Motorola Edge 60 Stylus has a 6.67 “poled display protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
The Motorola Edge 60 stylus display supports 60Hz, 90Hz and 120Hz refresh rates, offering three refresh rates – autos, 60Hz and 120Hz. The auto mode automatically selects the best refreshing rate, while 60Hz caps the refresh rate at 60Hz. With 120Hz mode, the fresh rate goes up to 120Hz. However, it is worth noting that Motorola Edge 60 does not support Stylus HDR, but it comes with Widavin L1 certification, allowing 1080p video streaming in supported apps.
The Edge 60 stylus display also has a concentrated punch-hal for a 32MP selfie camera. It has f/2.2 aperture and can record videos up to 4K resolution on 30 FPS.
The fingerprint reader is also embedded for biometric authentication in the display. It is sharp and accurate, but keeping it slightly more comfortable phone-uniting experience is offered.
Growing backwards, we have a square -shaped camera island, which has four circles – for a flash, 50mp primary camera, 13MP ultravide camera, and “3 in 1 light sensor”, which is a combination of ambient light, flicker reduction and RGB sensors.
The 50MP primary camera uses Sony Litia 700C sensor and has OIS and f/1.8 aperture. The 13MP ultravide camera, which can also take macro shots, has f/2.2 aperture and 120 ° fov. Both cameras can record videos up to 4K resolution at 30 FPS.
We have received a back cover with a vegetarian leather finish, like the Pantone Gibraltar C model, which has received the Motorola Edge 60 Styles’ Pantone Surf Web version. It does not feel premium, but provides a good grip and does not smile.
The Motorola Edge 60 stylus frame has a matte finish. The volume on the right is of the button and power, while the frame on the left has SIM cards and dedicated microSD card slots. The bottom is the USB-C port, which has been flanks by stylus slots, a speaker grill, primary microphone and 3.5 mm headphone jack. The top is the top secondary mike. We prefer the overall design and construction of Edge 60 stylus, which comes with MIL-STD-810H certification and IP68 ratings.
Port and control
You can reach the phone stylus by pressing its button. It is light and made well, and we found it comfortable to catch it. When you remove the stylus from the phone during the lock, a note-tecker opens on the lock screen, making you quickly drop something down. But when you remove the stylus when the phone is unlocked, you get shortcuts for moto note, screenshot, free-form crop, sketch to image and handwriting calculator. You can clearly adapt the shortcut to your choice or disable them completely.
However, remember that the stylus we are getting does not have Bluetooth connectivity, so do not expect to use it as a camera shutter button to take selfies or start video recording with the phone’s camera. This is just your finger that lets you take notes and make some doodles if you are ready to see it in this way.
Moving forward, we have Snapdragon 7S General 2 SoC with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM’s 8GB and UFS 2.2 with 256GB of storage, expandable up to 1TB via microSD card. The Motorola Edge 60s runs Android 15 out of the stylus box and will get the OS upgrade for two years and the security update for three years. Smartphone is only a third-party app: Pre-installed with Facebook. But, once you set it, an app called six games and “local weather” is automatically downloaded without the need for any permission from the user.
Motorola Edge 60 stylus up and run is a 5,000 mAh battery with 68W wired and 15W wireless charging support. The rest of the Edge 60 stylus highlights include NFC, Stereo Speaker, Dolby Atomos and Hi-Reez Audio. The smartphone is 8.29 mm thick and weighs 191g.
Motorola Edge 60 Styles is currently available in India only. It comes in a single 8GB/256GB configuration priced at INR22,999 ($ 270/€ 235), and you can buy it through Motorola’s official Indian website, Flipkart and major retail store.
