Motorola is preparing to launch a new smartphone in India. This smartphone named Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will be launched tomorrow (June 18). The phone will be available for sale on Flipkart and other platforms. Ahead of the phone’s India launch, Motorola has already released several details about the smartphone. The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra comes with an attractive design, including a unique variant with a real wood back panel in off-white color, complemented with a golden finish on the side frame. The phone’s triple camera setup is housed in a slightly raised module, which adds to its aesthetics. This distinctive look suggests both style and durability, which will be confirmed by its official launch and subsequent reviews.

Up front, the Edge 50 Ultra sports a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, which promises smooth and vibrant visuals. Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, which promises top-tier performance. The device is water and dust resistant with an IP68 rating. It is equipped with a 4,500mAh battery and supports 50W wireless charging and 125W wired charging.

The camera setup on the Edge 50 Ultra includes a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 64-megapixel telephoto lens with OIS, and a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens that doubles up as a macro lens. Despite the premium specifications, the Edge 50 Ultra price in India is still uncertain. The global model is priced at EUR 999 (roughly Rs. 88,870), but the Indian price is expected to be lower, possibly between Rs 40,000 and Rs 50,000.

Motorola has confirmed that the Edge 50 Ultra will come with three years of assured OS upgrades and up to four years of security updates, ensuring longevity and support for users. The phone will also support 10W wireless power sharing, allowing users to charge other devices such as smartwatches and TWS earbuds.
