Motorola has launched two new mid-segment smartphones in the European market. The Moto G55 and Moto G35 are priced between Rs 19,000 and Rs 24,000. Both smartphones have largely similar specifications, but some specifications of the Moto G55 are slightly better. This is the reason why the Moto G55 is priced higher than the Moto G35. There is no clarity yet on when and how these two smartphones will launch in India. Let’s take a look at their price, specifications and features.

Price of Moto G55 and Moto G35

Moto G55 has been launched in the European market at a starting price of 249 euros, which is approximately equivalent to Rs 24,000. At the same time, Moto G35 is a more affordable model and is priced at 199 euros, which is approximately Rs 18,500. Both the phones have been launched in a single variant.

The Moto G55 has three colour options, Forest Gray, Smoky Green, and Twilight Purple. On the other hand, the Moto G35 comes in Leaf Green, Guava Red, Midnight Black, and Sage Green colour options.

Specifications and Features of Moto G55 and Moto G35

The Moto G55 sports a 6.49-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The display has an aspect ratio of 20:9, a pixel density of 405 ppi, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. On the other hand, the affordable Moto G35 sports a larger 6.7-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,000nits peak brightness.

The Moto G55 runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage that can be expanded up to 1TB (via microSD slot). The Moto G35 also has the same RAM, storage, and expandability options, except that it runs on the Unisoc T760 chipset.

For photography, the Moto G55 sports a dual camera setup at the back, consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, along with a 16-megapixel camera on the front for selfies. The Moto G35 has exactly the same camera setup, except that its primary camera does not support optical image stabilization (OIS).

Both phones have a 5,000mAh battery, but the Moto G55 has 33W fast charging and the Moto G35 has 18W fast charging. The Moto G35 and Moto G55 also have a 3.5mm headphone jack and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

The design language of both the phones is similar to the recently launched Moto G45 (Review) and Moto G85 (Review) in the Indian market. The smartphones feature a premium-looking faux leather finish with a gently raised camera island on the top left.
