Moto G Stylus (2026) review

Introduction

The Moto G Stylus is back with its annual refresh, and it once again brings affordable note-taking features. Unfortunately, the availability of the Moto G Stylus (2026) has not been expanded, and the phone is still exclusive to North American markets.

It’s an easy-to-love midranger with its durable body, sleek design, grippy textured back, and two new great Pantone colors.

The new stylus packs a 6.7-inch AMOLED with 1,220p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Then there’s the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip with 8GB of RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Oh, and microSD expansion is available. And it’s still one of the few phones to offer an audio jack – how about that!?

The camera department is pretty decent with a 50MP OIS primary (1x-2x shots) and a 13MP ultrawide secondary with autofocus for close-ups. It also has a 32MP front camera with a wide-angle lens and 4K video capturing.

This does not mean that there are No Absolutely updated. The 2026 version brings an IP69 rating after IP68, has faster UFS 3.1 storage (vs. UFS 2.2), and it adds 200mAh more battery on top of the 5,000mAh cell inside the 2025 model. The stylus has also received an update, and it is now active.

Anyway, let’s get down to business, okay?

That is all. There is no charger, no screen protector or case. The phone is rated to charge up to 68W, but you can achieve this with any USB Power Delivery charger – it doesn’t have to be Motorola-made.
