Actor Teja Sajj’s fantasy drama ‘Mirai’ refused to slow down at the box office. Despite receiving mixed reviews, the film is making waves at the box office. After watching a grand opening in theaters, the film is looking upwards.
By initial estimates by Sacnilk, Karthik opened with Rs 13 crore under the direction of Gattamaneni Your first day. On the second day, the film saw an increase of 11.54 percent, earned Rs 14.5 crore, took its two-day total in India up to Rs 27.5 crore, indicating the traction of solid words-mouth.
The film saw its strongest performance in its home area, recorded a total of 71.57 percent occupation in Telugu theaters on Saturday. The morning show recorded 62.97 percent, 80.93 percent in the afternoon, 70.81 percent in the evening and 70.81 percent at night.
The Hindi market showed overall occupancy of 18.92 percent, indicating room for an increase in non-telugu regions.
