The Indian film industry is one of the oldest entertainment industries. Therefore, there are many actors and artistes who have been associated with it for a major part of their lives. One of them is veteran star Raza Murad, who started his career with the film Ek Nazar in 1972. Since the 1980s, he has appeared mainly in supporting roles and is also a popular villain of the 90s.
Raza Murad is a famous Bollywood actor who has been a part of many superhit films and played important roles in them. Over the past decades, he has appeared in approximately 250 Bollywood films as well as many other films in multiple languages. He is reportedly the cousin of actress Zeenat Aman. Obviously, he is strongly associated with the Indian film industry.
The actor learned about acting and filmmaking when he obtained a Diploma in Film Acting from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in Pune. After completing the course in 1971, he entered the acting field in 1972. Since then, he has been offered many roles which have added value to the film. One of his memorable roles as a character actor was in the 1973 film Namak Haraam alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Rajesh Khanna.
On his Instagram post, the Jodha Akbar actor said that Raj Kapoor rediscovered him as a villain in the 1982 film, Prem Rog, in which he played the ruthless Thakur Virendra Pratap Singh. Then came films like Mehndi and Ram Teri Ganga Maili as well as Khud-Daar, Ram Lakhan, Tridev, Pyar Ka Mandir, Aankhen, Mohra and Gupt.
She also shared the screen with actors like Ajay Devgan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Dharmendra and many more. But it seems she is actor Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s favorite co-star. This is because he has been a part of Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat, all of which hold a special place in the celebrity couple’s heart and career. Today, on 23rd November, Raza Murad is also celebrating his 74th birthday.th birthday.
