Matt Damon eager to return as Jason Bourne: We’re always looking for a new story
Matt Damon has said he is open to returning for another Bourne film. His comments suggest that the producers are still looking for a new story for the franchise.

Actor Matt Damon has said he is still eager to reprise his role in the Bourne franchise, adding that he would be open to another film in the series. The 55-year-old said that he is also ready to listen to the voice for the new instalment.
In a recent interview with parade Magazine, Matt said that the team behind the franchise is still trying to find a way to make another movie and said, “We’re always trying to make another one of those movies because we love it, with all the people who’ve worked on them. So there’s always something to write, to come up with a new story. So if you have something, let us know.”

The action-thriller franchise, based on the novels by author Robert Ludlum, consists of five films and a spin-off television series, 2019’s short-lived Treadstone on USA Network. This series started from 2002 Bourne IdentityDirected by Doug Liman and written by Tony Gilroy and William Blake Heron.
Bourne Identity Follows a man who wakes up at sea riddled with bullets, disoriented, and unaware of his past, only to discover that he is a CIA assassin who is being sought by his own comrades after failing to complete his latest mission.
After this the first film came bourne supremacy (2004), bourne ultimatum (2007), the Bourne Legacy (2012) and jason bourne (2016). Damon did not return for the fourth film, which introduced a new character played by Jeremy Renner.
Matt will next be seen in director Christopher Nolan’s film odyssey (2026). The film also stars Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o and Charlize Theron.
