Male birth control pill shows 99% efficacy in tests

A recent study published in Nature Medicine, performed on male mice and male monkeys suggests that fertility was re -achieved within 6 weeks in mice and 10 to 15 weeks in monkeys.
This drug was effective in preventing pregnancy within 2 weeks of use of 4 weeks in mice and starting the drug in monkeys.
In New Zealand, with the early stages of phase -2 testing, men who have been chosen for sterilization and those who do not want children in future, stages on healthy men shows 99% efficiency and safety in humans.

Last year, a new gel called NES/T, which included the hormone progestin nesterone and testosterone, was developed to prevent pregnancy in men. It was waiting for approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
