Nawabs is the largest city in Lucknow city, Uttar Pradesh and has now achieved a place as an official nominee of India for UNESCO Creative City for Gastronomy. According to the official website, UNESCO Creative Cities Network was established in 2004 and currently consists of 350 cities. It recognizes these creative cities based on seven creative areas – crafts and folk art, design, film, gastronomy, literature, music and media arts.
