Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu’s wife Namrata Shirodkar and their children Gautham and Sitara set out on a pilgrimage to Tirumala yesterday, August 15, to offer prayers in the morning. A video of the trio walking up the steps of the temple surrounded by security personnel, devotees and their fans is going viral. The actor was not seen in the video.

Mahesh Babu’s family will have an early morning Visit at Tirumala on Thursday. They trekked through the Alipiri route to reach the top of the temple. In the video, the family can be seen breaking coconut shells and lighting camphor as part of rituals.

Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu celebrated his 48th birthday on August 9. Namrata Shirodkar shared a stunning photo of Mahesh Babu and called him a “superstar”. She wrote, “Another year, another reason to celebrate your amazing personality. Life with you is a blockbuster that just keeps getting better. Happy birthday to my superstar, my partner and my love. Wishing you many more such birthdays in the future.”

The actor’s eldest son Gautham Ghattamaneni posted a picture of him from a trip and wrote, “Happy birthday, Nanna! You are a superstar in everything you do… Here’s to celebrating you and your awesomeness today and every day!”

His daughter Sitara Ghattamaneni posted, “Happy birthday Nana! Thank you for being the best dad ever I love you so much.”

Talking about the work front, Mahesh Babu will soon start shooting for director SS Rajamouli’s film ‘SSMB 29’.
