In a recent interview with News 18, Madhuri Dixit shared that she did not want to work when she was pregnant and she rejected it. She said, “Well, one or two opportunities came my way, but I was pregnant with my second child at the time. I didn’t want to work when I was pregnant. So I said no.”

She admitted that then she had not particularly thought about doing a Hollywood film, and now, since her comeback in 2011, she is working in Bollywood again and is achieving the same success.

She said, “I didn’t really think of doing a Hollywood film. I’m happy doing what I’m doing here. And anyway, Indian films are watched all over the world.”

Madhuri Dixit married Dr. Shriram Nene in 1999. The couple welcomed their first son, Arin, in 2003 and their second son, Ryan, in 2005. When asked if her sons, who are studying in the US, watch her films, the actress mentioned that they don’t watch her films often, but they did watch her recent film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, because they remember her as ‘Bhoot’.
