Sivakartheikeyan Starer Madharaasi was released in theaters on 5 September 2025. Directed by Ar Murugadoss, the film is a psychological romantic action thriller in the form of co-leids with Rukmini Vasant and Vidyartha Jammal.

How much was the actors paid for Madharai?
According to a Times report, now Shivkartikeyan was paid an amount of Rs 40 crore to play the role of the chief hero. After Amarran’s success, the actor had allegedly raised his salary and was also estimated to share the film’s profit. However, there is not an official confirmation.
Vidyut Jammal, who plays the role of Virat, the role of Virat, was paid an amount of Rs 4 crore for his role. Interestingly, this is the second time Vidyut has played the role of a villain in an AR Murugados film.
Reports show that Rs 3 crore was paid to Rukmini Vasant, Sapta Sagardache Aloe actress. The actress will soon be seen in Rishi Shetty starrer Kanta: Chapter 1.
Meanwhile, Malayalam actor Biju Menon, who is known for his intense performance at Ayyappanam Koshim, was also paid Rs 3 crore for his role.
Finally, director AR Murugadoss allegedly received a huge salary of Rs 30 crore, despite his recent film Alexander failed Salman Khan at the box office.
