Directed by Sundar C, Mada Gaja Raja has been running in theaters for two weeks now. Releasing on the Pongal weekend (January 12, 2025), the much-delayed Tamil film shoulders shoulders with actor Vishal. Anjali, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar and Santhanam are playing important roles. The action comedy continues to perform well at the box office.

Co-produced by Gemini Film Circuit and Benz Media (P) Ltd., Mada Gaja Raja earned Rs 1 crore at the Tamil Nadu box office on the 14th day of its release. In the first week, the Vishal-starrer collected Rs 36.6 crore in its home state. In the second week, the Tamil action comedy collected Rs 10.85 crore, taking its total to Rs 47.45 crore in two weeks.
Mada Gaja Raja will soon touch Rs 50 crore in Tamil Nadu markets, while moving towards the finish line target, i.e. Rs 55 crore.
