Sierra Ortega took out the love island out of season 7 after facing backlash on the internet at a racist post. After the reality TV star exits the show, her parents reacted to the ongoing controversy.
He went to the Instagram account of Ortga and issued a statement, where he mentioned that the users were attacking the family, for which they are without thinking.
The tall note from Ortga’s family came after Ian Sterling, the 30th episode of the Love Island USA revealed that Sierra had “left the villa due to a personal situation.”

Taking the reality TV star on Instagram, the Ortega family wrote, “As a parent of Sierra, it has been one of the most painful weeks of our life.”
He further mentioned, “We have seen posts, headlines, injuries and hatred. And while Sierra has not seen any of it yet, we have. And therefore those who love him. We are not here that we are not to justify or ignore it. We understand why people are upset, and we know accountable matters.”
Sierra’s parents continued to convince that the situation had gone beyond the border. The messages are being targeted to the family and they are hurt and upset.
The statement further said, “The attack on his family, his friends, even his supporters – it is a shocking.
Ortga’s family also revealed that when she exits the villa, she is still away and has not got a chance to process anything going on media portals.
Meanwhile, Cierra was partnered with Nick Vansteenberggege, which has been left single after the previous exhaust. In the leading days for the episode, a post was revived by the contestant online, where he used racially aggressive language.
As on the island, Vasteenbergghe was seen coming closer to Olandriya Karthen, with Sierra’s departure.
