I travel a lot, and my work requires me to carry many gadgets and electronic devices. That’s why I never leave home without a power bank – it’s absolutely essential.
I’m also deeply connected to the Apple ecosystem, so I’m never charging just one device — I have to track the charges on my iPhone, AirPods, and my Apple Watch. Of course, when given the choice, I’ll always choose a wired wall charger to power my gadgets, as it’s definitely faster. But the hassle of carrying all the wires is sometimes a bit much when you are travelling. So, when DailyObjects contacted me about their Loop Qi2-certified MagSafe-compatible power bank, I jumped at the opportunity to review it. I’ve replaced my wired charger with the Power Back for the past 10 days for testing, and I have to say, I’m impressed. â€è â€è
There are a lot of things I like about the device, but let’s start by talking about the basic specifications of the power bank. The Loop Power Bank comes in three options – 5,000mAh, 10,000mAh and 20,000mAh capacity. I reviewed the one with 10,000 mAh battery. Its price is Rs 5,999. The charger is Qi2-certified, which means it can allow your MagSafe iPhones to charge at up to 15W charging speeds, which is faster than regular wireless chargers. â€è â€è
Talking about the design, it has a small LED display at the back, which shows the remaining charge in the power bank. It also has a USB-C port with 20W charging support. It also supports two-way charging for devices like iPad or other phones that don’t support wireless charging. The 10,000 mAh version also includes a retractable kickstand that lets you keep your iPhone upright while it’s magnetically attached to the charger, so your power bank can also double as an iPhone stand. â€è â€è
The design is nice and compact, but it’s not perfect â€è â€è
The MagSafe power bank is made of an aerospace-grade aluminum body. The unit I received came in Sports Titanium color. It also has a black variant. â€è â€èIt’s interesting to see that the power bank follows a bunch of design cues from Apple’s own aesthetics to add a bit of familiarity to the design, I guess. Not only does it come in a color option like Desert Titanium, but it also has the loop pattern you see on retail boxes of iPads.

Talking about portability and in-hand feel, the power bank is compact and easily fits in one palm. There’s definitely some heft to it, which is understandable considering the 10,000mAh battery packed into that tiny body. The metallic finish gives it a premium touch.â€è â€è
Dropping a power bank is never ideal, but if you’re clumsy like me, it happens sometimes. If you drop it, there are chances of dents on the edges. Thankfully, the included pouch provides some extra protection to keep it safe.
Apart from being compact, the design is also functional. It’s multi-purpose and can charge multiple devices simultaneously – more on that in a bit. The 10,000 mAh version comes with a stand, so you can use it as a phone stand. So, you can either use it while watching something on your iPhone or enjoy standby mode on your iPhone while the device is firmly glued to the power bank. Additionally, along with the MagSafe ring, the front charger also includes a slot for charging your Apple Watch.
The thing is: On paper, the device looks great. However, there are small issues that can become quite troublesome in practice. For example, if you’re using a standard iPhone or iPhone Pro, you can put it on the charger and use the watch’s charging space at the same time. But if you have an iPhone Plus variant — like my iPhone 16 Plus — there’s not enough room to wirelessly charge your Apple Watch at the same time.

Also, while the Apple Watch is charging wirelessly on the power bank, if you use the Loop Band, it is a bit difficult to place it on the charging slot. You may need to figure out how to put it on properly or even remove one side of the strap to properly place it on the charger.
May become essential for your trip â€è â€è
As far as performance is concerned, the loop charger delivers what it promises. The power bank charges my iPhone 16 Plus — which has a larger battery than the vanilla iPhone 16 — from 0 to 100 percent in under an hour, which is impressive. Even AirPods and Apple Watch charge pretty fast

Since the charger is MagSafe, it works best with iPhones, AirPods, Apple Watches, and of course iPads. However, it also supports wireless charging for other devices like the Pixel 9 and other supported devices, which is quite convenient. Although a Type-C cable is not included in the box, I carry a Type-C cable with me whenever I need to use a power bank with a cable.
The LED screen is also useful to show the remaining power available in the power bank.
Overall, as far as charging capabilities are concerned, the Loop Power Bank does its job very well and quickly, keeping everything organized for the trip.â€è â€è

Loop Qi2-Certified MagSafe-Compatible Power Bank 10000 mAh Review: Should You Buy It? â€è â€è
If you’re looking for a wireless power bank with MagSafe, the Loop Qi2-Certified MagSafe-Compatible Power Bank 10,000 mAh is definitely worth considering. It can charge your iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods – though not your MacBook. It also supports other wireless charging-compatible devices, and for those that don’t, just keep a cord with you, and it’ll charge them too. – At Rs 6,000, the price is not exactly cheap, but after using the power bank, I can say that it justifies the price. The power bank supports multiple charging options, a compact design, wired charging support, and a convenient in-built stand. It has some design limitations, but they are manageable issues. Overall, the charger works efficiently and is worth the money.
