Suriya is ready for a large -scale release with Karthik Subbaraj’s retro. The film has been slated for release worldwide on 1 May. Recently, the actor was spotted at Hyderabad Airport, where he was immediately mobilized by fans.
In the video, Suriya, a white T-shirt, black trousers, and Emporio Armani wearing an expensive pair of sunglasses. 15K was seen exiting Hyderabad Airport. However, fans soon recognized him and crowded him for photos.

Despite being crowded, the actor peacefully bound the requests of some of his fans to the photographs to the end, until just before stepping inside his car to get out of the airport premises. He maintained his work and made his fans very happy.
Suriya’s next release, retro, has been postponed to be an action thriller based on a love story. The actor has pulled an incredibly, and many glimpses of the film have already attracted attention.
Apart from him, the film also includes Pooja Hegde in the lead role. Other actors acting in the film include Jairam, Jujo George, Prakash Raj, Karunakaran, Nasar, Swasika, Sujith Shankar and more.
Retro is jointly manufactured by 2D entertainment and stone bench creation, marking the first cooperation of the actor with Karthik Subbaraj. Santosh Narayanan has composed the music score for Suriya-Starrer.
Recently, the filmmaker revealed in an interview with Galata Plus that the script for retro was originally for Suriya. In fact, Karthik imagined the film for Rajinikanth.
He said, “I wrote this script keeping Thalaor in mind. Initially, it was more in the action zone in line with Thalaor’s image. After Suriya Sir, it was converted into a love story. Even Suriya sir asked me if I had narrated the script to Rajinikanth sir.”
Interestingly, Retro will hit the box office with Nani’s hit 3, which is also ready to release on the same date. It remains to be seen how these two action entertainers perform at the box office later.
