When there is a homal, eating someone’s favorite dishes from home can help reduce that feeling. Recently, a Vologue couple posted a video that showed her wife when her wife felt Homik. The reel has become viral since then and has won many hearts online. Husband (Ben), who is a foreigner, is preparing a dosa with scratches for his Indian wife (Sheeba). When we say “from scratch”, we mean that he also prepared the dosa batsman. In the clip, we see that he grinds different materials and later combines them. In the comments, he revealed that he used 4 cups of rice, 1 cup urad dal and 1 tablespoon fenugreek seeds for this recipe. He washed and soaked them overnight. After grinding them, he suggests strict mixing to combine for at least 60 seconds. ” In the comments, he also states that he is using a wet mill which has been sent to his in -laws from India.
Ben is seen giving his wife a batsman’s taste to check whether it is fine. When he is in the kitchen, we also see that his wife comes in and gives him some rice, which he likes. The next step in the preparation of the batsman is fermentation. To do this, we see that he puts it with light in a covered vessel inside an oven. He revealed that he left it for fermentation for 12-24 hours. Later, he adds water to the batsman to achieve a flowing stability. Once ready, he spreads it on a warm griddle and shows it as ghee. Once the crisp dosa is ready, he stacks them on a plate with chutney and serves his wife. Watch the full viral video below:
