A messenger of President Donald Trump said on Thursday that Ukraine blamed himself for the US suspension of war aid and compared a shock to kill a stubborn farm animal with a piece of wood.
A retired Lieutenant General Keith Kelog, nominated by Trump as a special messenger on Russia and Ukraine, said that President Volodimir Zelansky had sufficient opportunity to sign a sharing of US mineral rights, which is still important for the safety plan after an ambiguous-war.
Kelog said in the council on foreign relations, “very clearly, they bring it to themselves – Ukrainian,” Kelog said in the council on foreign relations.
The cutting was a significant-a small sharp shock for the Ed-Ukraine’s three-year Russian invasion, he said.
He said, “I think the best way I can describe that it is like killing a mule with two-four across the nose.”
He said, “Your attention has been attracted to you, and this is very important, of course, because of what we support,” he said.
Kelog said that the stagnation should be temporary until the Zelanceci signs the deal, although he warned that Trump would take a decision alone.
“Protocol is – you sign a document and once you signed a document that you want to pursue, that you are serious about it, I think you can move forward” on the aid, he said.
To sign an agreement sought by Trump, Zelancesi flew to Washington last week that the United States was sent to weapons for billions of dollars in part, as Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022.
The meeting of the two leaders was dramatically instigated as Zelansky questioned how to trust any Russian promises. Trump and Vice President JD Vance angrily responded by accusing him.
Kelog stressed that the Trump administration was also pressurizing Russia to make a deal on the ships selling oil.
“It’s not so much option,” he said about Trump’s approach to pressurize Russia. “This is the enforcement of options.”
