Lava has officially launched its latest budget 5G smartphone – Blaze Dragon 5G – in India. The phone is priced at Rs 9,999 and comes in a configuration of 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage.

Lava has officially launched its latest budget 5G smartphone – Blaze Dragon 5G – in India. After teasing the phone in the last few days, the Indian brand has now revealed everything, including the price, availability and full set of facilities. The phone is priced at Rs 9,999 and comes in a configuration of 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. Sales start from Amazon from 1 August, and buyers can also get an additional 1,000 exchange bonuses as part of the launch offer. To remember, Blaze Dragon follows the recently launched Storm Play 5G and Storm Light 5G.
Lava Blaze Dragon 5G comes in two colors – Golden Mist and Midnight Mist – and a design feature that keeps things simple when offering modern forms. The company is clearly targeting this phone from 5G buyers or old 4G phones for the first time. For less than Rs 10,000, Blaze Dragon 5G tries a lot of boxes: 5G support, a smooth display, decent performance and a clean software experience.
Lava Blaze Dragon 5G 6.74-inch HD+ (720 x 1,612) comes with LCD screen, providing 120 Hz refresh rates and brightness of more than 450 knots. Inside, the device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 General 2 chipset, built on the 4Nm process, with two high-high-demonstration core at 2.2GHz and six proficiency core on 2GHz. There is also an Adreno 613 GPU to handle graphics tasks. This combination should be good enough for daily use, streaming and light gaming. In addition, power to the device is a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support, which must easily be a full day for most users.
In terms of software, lava blaze dragon has gone with Stock Android 15 on 5G, which means that users get a clean, blotware-free experience-something still lacking in the budget phone. The UFS 3.1 is 128GB of storage, and if you need more space then there is also a microSD card slot. As mentioned above, there is 4GB RAM onboard, and the phone also supports additional 4GB virtual RAM.
Camera-wise, lava blaze dragon 5G with an LED flash, is a 50-megapixel primary sensor on the back. At the front, there is an 8-megapixel camera for selfie, video calls and face unlock.
Other useful features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual SIM support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, FM radio and a USB Type-C port. Connectivity options include 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4 and GPS with GPS.
