Laur Morgan Cancels showed to support her husband struggling with oral cancer

The Country Music icon Laurie Morgan is moving away from the stage to stay in favor of her husband as she fights mouth cancer and is currently hospitalized.
His manager, Tony Conway announced the news on Thursday, 17 April, and said Morgan has canceled all shows and public performances for the next two weeks.
“Randy White, the husband of about 15 years of Laurie, is taught at a middle Tennessi Hospital as he continues to treat his cancer,” Conway said.
Morgan steps away from the stage
The 65 -year -old musician was scheduled to perform on 17 and 19 April with band Alabama. He was also booked for an appearance in Opri Country Classics in Nashville on 24 April. Music composer Palm Tilis will cover his upcoming performances.
Long love
Laurie and Randy married a low-key private beach ceremony in 2010. In April 2024, Morgan posted that Randy was getting treatment for oral cancer.
This is not the first time Morgan has faced personal difficulty. He is married to the country’s singer, Keith Whitley, who died in 1989. Morgan’s two children Jessie, 37, Whitley, and with 44 -year -old Morgan with her first husband Ron Gaddis.
Morgan recently expressed gratitude for the support and prayers of fans. “We are grateful to prayers and best wishes, and for ongoing support and privacy, while we focus on Randy’s health and our family,” he said.
Earlier in December, he posted a positive update on Facebook, stating that Randy was improving: “We are hard, and he is firm. I love you, Rannara.”
Morgan’s latest album, Dead Girl Walking, was previously released in 2024.
