Gujarati film Lalo Krishna Sada Sahayate has completed 75 days at the box office and is collecting lakhs daily. In its eleventh week the film has already earned Rs 10 crore. Around 90 lakh in the first five days. The entire week is set to comfortably cross Rs. 1 crore, which is an insane feat. The last film to do so was probably Vivah in 2006.
Earlier, the film had made the record of the ninth biggest weekend ever. The entire week was the second biggest week ever. The tenth week was one of the top ten biggest weeks of all time.
The total box office collection of the film was Rs. Approximately Rs 113.50 crore. It is expected to cross Rs. The film earned Rs 115 crore in its twelfth week, helped by the New Year holidays. Looking ahead, Sankranti is also a solid period in Gujarati cinema. Lalo Krishna Sada Sahayate may continue posting healthy collections till January. If this happens, it itself increases to Rs. 120 crores.
Laalo is the highest-grossing Gujarati film of all time, far ahead of the previous best film. It is the second highest grossing film in the state of Gujarat after Pushpa 2; However, in terms of viewership, it could be higher. In the history of Gujarati cinema, it is probably the second biggest hit of all time after the 1998 release Desh Re Joya Dada Pardesh Joya, which grossed Rs. Today Rs 150 crore.
