Actor Sonakshi Sinha’s brother director Kush Sinha indicated that ‘Siara’ could be copied. In an interview, he talked about the challenges to face his film ‘Nikita Roy’ at the box office. On July 18, it was released with ‘Tanvi The Great’ and ‘Siarra’, her film fought against the later unexpected success.

Sinha said, “The best thing is that ‘Nikita Roy’ is a completely original story – we have not borrowed from anyone.” He indicated on the literary theft controversy around ‘Siara’ directed by Mohit Suri, saying, “The conversation took place, but it is not to comment for me. If they have to clarify it is their responsibility.”

Sinha also faced ‘Nikita Roy’ in securing the theater screen. “We tried to secure more screen for the film, but sometimes a wave comes together and removes everything,” he explained.

He said that ‘Nikita Roy’ retains her presence in theaters due to positive response from exhibitions, while ‘Tanvi the Great’ was drawn from several screens. ‘Tanvi The Great’ was directed and produced by Anupam Kher, who also acted in the film.

Despite facing these challenges, Sinha congratulated the team of ‘Siarra’ for his success. He said, “No one could not predict such a strong wave. I am happy that a romantic film led by two newcomers has worked so well. Salute to YRF, and I congratulate him,” he commented.

‘Siara’, a love story between an ambitious musician and a writer, has seen remarkable success at the box office. It has crossed a mark of Rs 250 crore in just 11 days at the box office. It is now close to entering a club of Rs 300 crore.
