Actor Kunal Kapoor is playing the role of Lord Indra in two parts ‘Ramayana’ of Nitesh Tiwari. The second part of the film is still being shot, and some pictures of other camphor from the set are now going viral on social media.

Kunal shared photos on his Instagram stories for the first time, and then the rest of the social media platforms started discussing how he appeared perfectly fit for the role. On Reddit, the users seemed to be particularly influenced by their sharp joining. “Oh his joining! (Fire emoji)”, one wrote, while another commented, “Indra Aryan features and perfect for all (SIC).”

Earlier, while speaking about being part of the film series, Kapoor told News18 Showsha“This is a very important film in our cultural history. It is a very important part of our cultural ethos. I think it is important that you have a filmmaker and people are to give it on the kind of scale. It has been placed on a scale that we have never seen before.”

Interestingly, the ‘Ramayana’ series also marks her reunion with Ranbir Kapoor, with which she appeared in the 2008 film ‘Bacha AE Haseeno’.

Both have joined a detailed artists playing an important role in the Hindu epic. Sai Pallavi plays the role of Goddess Sita, Sunny Deol has been cast as Lord Hanuman, Ravi Dubey as Laxman, and Yash has been put as Ravana in the film. Actors Rakularatat Singh, Lara Dutta, Arun Govil, Vivek Oberoi, Sheeba Chadda and Indira Krishnan, others also play interesting roles in the film.

The first part of ‘Ramayana’ will be released in November 2026.
