Set against Negarkoil’s background, Netisense says that Kingston rarely takes a fresh on the style discovered in Tamil cinema. The film mixes the myth with the concept of a cursed sea and presents a unique story prepared by director Kamal Prakash.

Meanwhile, the audience says that the cursed sea views are both stunning and virtuous. As the second half comes out, the story increases speed, which has a brief romantic relief provided by Divyabharati in Ras Ras. The WFX work on the Ocean and the spectral elements successfully justifies the film’s production budget.
Kingston has rated more than 3 out of 5, the audience has appreciated the grounded presentation yet. The film attaches the audience through a uninterrupted combination of its characters and the past and the current storyline. Chetan’s performance comes as a pleasant surprise, while GV Prakash Kumar performs a concrete function as Kingston.
This marks his first action film with the right production value and a strong story that further enhances his performance.
“Kingston is not a vanilla action adventure/horror thriller. In fact, drama and core story conspired to me more than the supernatural element. Therefore, do not expect the only Adrenaline Rush,” read the review.
