Actress and BJP member Khushboo Sundar has invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the wedding of her elder daughter and future actress Avantika. Sharing pictures from a meeting in New Delhi, Khushboo said that she and her husband, filmmaker Sundar C, personally handed over the wedding card to the Prime Minister and received his blessings for the couple.

In the pictures, Khushboo is seen with Sundar, Avantika and her future son-in-law Shravan Srinivasan. Khushboo’s post on her daughter’s wedding received wishes from all quarters.

Khushboo wrote, “We had the honor of meeting the Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shri @NarendraModi Ji in Delhi today. My husband, Mr. Sundar C and I extended invitations to our daughter’s upcoming wedding to Mr. Shravan Srinivasan. The Prime Minister blessed the couple, and we are truly grateful for his time amidst our busy schedules. We feel extremely grateful and humbled. Thank you, Prime Minister Gee (sic).”

Apart from her acting career in TV and films, Khushboo has also been active in politics and is currently associated with the BJP. Sundar C had recently contested the Tamil Nadu elections on BJP ticket, but was unsuccessful.

On the film front, Khushboo’s most recent major release was the 2024 Tamil comedy-horror film Aranmanai 4In which he made a special appearance. He also produced the film under his banner Avani Cinemax. He was also seen in the 2025 Tamil romantic drama nesippaya.

While Khushboo’s elder daughter Avantika is preparing for two more films, her younger daughter Anandita has entered production. He has supported Tamil film Meesaya Murukku 2Which is expected to hit theaters in the next few weeks.
