Sharing a heartfelt note, Kher recalled the moment at the Cannes Film Festival when an international director, amazed by the sheer volume of his work, called him the “Marathon Man of Indian cinema”. As the shooting of the sequel began in Delhi, the actor wrote, “So today as I start my 550th film #KhoslaKaGhosla2 my heart is filled with gratitude and gratitude!”
Reminiscing about his early days, Kher remembers reaching Mumbai on June 3, 1981, having no idea that such a huge milestone was ahead. He wrote, “I had never dreamed that I would reach this milestone of 550 films.” He further wrote that this journey is not over yet. “I have just reached the ‘breaking point’ of my life and career! Dreams have no expiration date!”
The actor also acknowledged the role of optimism, perseverance and collective support in sustaining his long career. Expressing his gratitude towards everyone who has been a part of his journey, he wrote, “My survival for so many years has been possible only because of the support I have received from all my producers, directors, co-actors, technicians and above all you, my audience!” He concluded the note on a spiritual and patriotic note with “Jai Ho! Jai Hind! Om Namah Shivay!”
