Akshay Kumar, Ananya Pandey, and R. Madhavan’s Kesari chapter 2 is making waves at the box office. Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, the film is getting equally love from the audience and critics. Meanwhile, among other Bollywood celebrities, Varun Dhawan is the latest to post a special message that shares his review of the film-Drama film.

On 20 April, Varun Dhawan took it in his Instagram handle and shared a post with Ananya Pandey and Akshay Kumar’s film still. Expanding his love, Varun called it a “powerful film” and also offered praise on the performance.

He wrote, “Looking at such a powerful film Pyaar in theaters. Congratulations @Bindraamritpal #Karan @ananyapanday U We are very good @ACTORMADDY U Sir and @akshaykumar ur passion and hardwork this @Karanjohar shines in this @Karanjohar, who is very happy for UV, after this” Did. In response to his praise, Karan Johar shared the story again on his Instagram and replied, “VD” after several red-heart emojis.

Earlier, Bollywood celebrities, including Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Sunil Shetty, Ramesh Turni, Sunny Kaushal and more, also posted a heartbreaking messages while appreciating the film.

The direction of Karan Singh Tyagi is beginning in Kesari chapter 2. The film narrates the untold story of Jalianwala Bagh massacre and this is C. Shankaran introduces Akshay Kumar in the role of Nair, who is a lawyer who stood against the British crown. Ananya Pandey and R. Madhavan has been seen playing the roles of Dilerite Gill and R Neville McKinley respectively.

Produced by Hiru Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Karan Johar, other Poonwal, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra and Anand Tiwari, the film was released on 18 April 2025 earlier this week.

On the professional front, Varun will be seen next time with Janhvi Kapoor in Sunny Sanskari’s Tulsi Kumari. Directed by Shashank Khith, the upcoming Rome-Com-Kom also includes Rohit Saraf, Manish Paul, Sanya Malhotra and Akshay Oberoi in lead roles. It is ready to hit the silver screen on September 12, 2025.

In addition, they have no entry 2 in Sunny Dole’s Border 2 and Pipeline.
