Akshay Kumar’s ‘Kesari Chapter 2’ is doing well at the box office in its second week. The film crossed a benchmark of Rs 70 crore in India on Tuesday, with stable collections during the week. However, even with its stable collection in the second week, is it possible for this to cross the benchmark of Rs 100 crore in the end?
The director of Karan Singh Tyagi collected a network of Rs 2.50 crore on his second Tuesday. It is almost equal what he earned on his second Monday – Rs 2.75 crore. The drama of patriotism based on Jalianwala Bagh massacre has emerged as the most popular option in theaters of all Bollywood releases in theaters – ‘Jait’, ‘Ground Zero’ and ‘Phule’.

‘Kesari Chapter 2’ has appealed to the public, especially in North India. The film asks a question, and replaces mourning with aggression in the hearts of those who continue to apologize to the British for killing unarmed Indians in Jalianwala Bagh on 13 April 1914.
The film has got two more days to perform smoothly at the box office until ‘Red 2’ hits the big screen. Ajay Devgan-Starrer is a popular franchise, and will attract more audiences for theaters at the end of this week. It can challenge a lot for ‘Kesari 2’. However, it will be interesting to see how the film manages to fight ‘Red 2’ wave, and if it remains stable, it has the ability to make that century at the ticket window. If not by the end of its third weekend, during the third week.
Built by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, ‘Kesari 2’ also stars Ananya Pandey and R Madhavan in important roles.
