Kerala Story sequel shot amid tight security? manufacturer responds
Kerala Story 2 Goes Beyond was filmed with stringent security measures in place for the safety of the cast and crew. Producer Vipul Amritlal Shah has denied rumors of disruption, aiming for a smooth release despite the sensitive subjects.

The Kerala Story 2 Goes Beyond It is scheduled to release on 27th February. After the teaser was released a few weeks ago, it has received a divided response. Given that the film deals with a sensitive religious subject, rumors suggested that it was shot amid tight security. In an exclusive chat, producer Vipul Amritlal Shah refuted these claims and clarified why the set was given heavy security.
He shared that safety is always the top priority for the team. He said, “Even when we shoot a commercial action film like Commando, there is always an ambulance and a doctor on the set. So it is always a priority. In this film, especially because it deals with a very sensitive subject, we have to provide extra security so that at no point of time any crew member or artist is in any kind of danger.”
The filmmaker also denied that there was any disruption in the shooting. He mentioned that although he had received threats during the release of the first film, he was hopeful that things would go smoothly this time. Shah said, “The shooting has been very peaceful. Yes, we received some threats during the first part, but honestly I am not expecting a repeat of the same this time.”
Directed by Kamakhya Narayan Singh, The Kerala Story 2 – Goes Beyond marks a significant growth from its predecessor. The teaser introduces the continuing journey of three Hindu girls, played by Ulka Gupta, Aishwarya Ojha and Aditi Bhatia. Its tense, charged tone hints at the conflicts inherent in identity and faith, exploring how love is portrayed as a weapon, leading to the erosion of identity and creating a setting where religious belief becomes a battlefield.
